“love” is the first collaboration between Korean artist DEAN and former Odd Future singer and producer Syd. The two R&B singer-songwriters were both involved in the composition and lyrics, pairing up to create this upbeat alternative R&B blend of DEAN-esque song production with a particularly neo-soul inspired vocal arrangement. The song, released with an accompanying music video, is DEAN’s third U.S. single (“I’m Not Sorry” and “Put My Hands on You” being first and second, respectively) and fourth English release (“Here and Now” occupying third).
