Inhibition is the debut studio album by alternative rock band Dot Hacker. The album was released on May 1, 2012 on ORG Music label. The recording of Inhibition was completed in 2009, however the release was delayed until 2012 due to band members' other commitments, notably Josh Klinghoffer who joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Dot Hacker is an American experimental rock band from Los Angeles, United States, formed in 2008. The band consists of Josh Klinghoffer (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Clint Walsh (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Jonathan Hischke (bass) and Eric Gardner (drums). Klinghoffer, Walsh and Gardner were all previously members of the touring incarnation of Gnarls Barkley, and were subsequently joined by Hella bassist Jonathan Hischke to create Dot Hacker.
