The Seeker debuted on 30 May 2001 and originally consisted of 2 main members: D.K on vocals and K.ITO (Kenichi Ito [伊藤賢一] on guitar with support from Daisuke Asakura (浅倉大介) on synth and Kazuaki Kawawaki on guitar/bass. The Seeker first came together as K.ITO+D.K in 2000 to provide a song for the fictional band Nittle Grasper. They changed their name to The Seeker after the song for Gravitation: Sleepless beauty.
