Foxtrot is the fourth studio album by British progressive rock band Genesis and the second from the "classic" lineup of Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford, Phil Collins, and Steve Hackett. The album was recorded and released in 1972 as the band's career quickly gained momentum.
