IFA Wartburg was a Swedish band founded by Magnus Michaeli and Nils Lundwall under the aliases of Heinz Klinger and Rolf Kempinski. The name stems from the East German car of the same name. The lyrics – sung in German – were about the socialist era of East Germany and the USSR. Their music was electric, ranging from bossa nova (Frau Gorbatschowa tanzt Bossanova), pop/ska (FDJ), to jazz and swing (Spassjazz).
