Gods of Violence is the fourteenth studio album by the German thrash metal band Kreator, released on January 27, 2017. It is the band's first studio album in almost five years since Phantom Antichrist (2012), marking the longest gap between two studio albums in their career. A music video for the album's title track was released on November 18, 2016. Special editions of the album were released with a bonus Blu-ray/DVD of Kreator's performance at Wacken 2014.

Kreator is a german thrash metal band from Essen (NRW), Germany. Originally started off under as Metal Militia, then as Tyrant and later as Tormentor before permanently deciding for Kreator in 1982. Initially playing a thrash metal with Venom influences, their style of music is similar to that of their compatriots Destruction and Sodom, which are considered the other two big teutonic thrash metal bands from Germany.
