JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS ROCKS THE ANNDANDALE!

Yep, the iconic US performer and subject of the recent Hollywood biopic The Runaways (Joan's teenage pre-solo years band) will perform her one and only headline Australian show at Sydney's infamous Annandale Hotel on Friday 7th January 2011.

The choice of venue has come from Joan Jett herself who in recent times has also played the notorious 100 Club in London (the virtual birthplace of UK punk) and - before it was turned into a mens clothing boutique - NYC's legendary CBGB's.

With all that in mind what better place to perform in Sydney than the Annandale Hotel? Since 1988 the 'Annandale' has been home to all manner of rock luminaries & shenanigans from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Kings of Leon, Dandy Warhols to The Dillinger Escape Plan, Death Cab For Cutie to Bonnie Prince Billy.
