Oval Space bring another impeccable label, Scissor & Thread, to the terrace on Sunday the 14th of July. Comprised of a tight knit collective of multi-faceted composers, producers, vocalists and instrumentalists, Francis 'Frank' Harris and Anthony 'Tony' Collins developed the label more like an artist development platform, focused on talent, over an abundance of tracks. By no means your average dance imprint, Scissor & Thread is a platform for ambitious sounds, mixing up slow house with the indie world, collaborating in various configurations on a diversity of projects stitched together only by their common aesthetic. Conceptually, S&T is an open-ended platform for artist development and releases, electronic or otherwise. Launched at the tail end of 2011, with a strong and steady release schedule over 2012, the summer of 2013 looks set to be their strongest year yet, and Oval Space are excited to welcome Frank & Tony themselves for an all day terrace session.
