Description
After their second album, Hidden was released in 2010 to planetary acclaim – also winning NME's Album of the Year – brothers Jack and George Barnett and their friend Thomas Hein decided it was time to push the boundaries of their music a little further.
The record which followed in 2013 has already been hailed as ‘arguably the musical achievement of the 2010s so far’ (Record Collector), existing ‘in a space of its own, somewhere between experimental rock and modern classical music’ (Guardian). Field of Reeds surely brings you closer to a unique These New Puritans style, with its highly dynamic, intense and emotive sound that completely bypasses any fads or fashions in today's music.
Now, and for one night only, this is your chance to hear one of the albums of the year live, together with Lost Chords – featuring old and new works, worked and re-worked by the band – with an expanded line-up featuring the brass, strings, voices and percussion of the Heritage Orchestra.
