Gaitana Essami (Ukrainian: Гайтана Ессамі, born on March 24, 1979 in Kyiv) is an Ukrainian soul and rnb singer-songwriter. Her music combines elements of jazz, funk, soul, and folk music. Gaitana was born in Kyiv, but subsequently moved to the Congo where her father was born, for five years.
