PILAR (a girl’s name) are five light-headed young guys from the city of Perm in Ural Region, playing together rhythmical music decorated with intelligent electronics and interspersed with ethno-percussion, a unique style called Funk-o-Logic Disco Pop. The band’s vocalist has a timbre of a well-mannered hooligan. The songs’ lyrics are rhymes for Alice who cannot find a way to get out of the Looking-Glass Land. In summer 2010 the band started recording their debut album which is, after being released in spring 2011, going to rock the world of russian showbiz.
