Ruslan Faizovich Muratov (born June 8, 1960) is a Russian composer, laureate of the “Song of the Year” television competition. Born and raised in the city of Astrakhan. He graduated from the orchestral, pop and jazz department of the Astrakhan Music College named after M. P. Mussorgsky and the conducting and choral department of the Astrakhan State Conservatory. In 1990–2008, he was the musical director, arranger, composer and keyboard player of Valery Leontyev’s group. His songs appeared in Leontyev’s repertoire for the first time in 1991 in the film “Psychic”
