The opening track to AFI's 2003 release "Sing The Sorrow". As they have done on other albums (most notably "Black Sails in the Sunset"), they preface their album with a short song that sets the tone for what’s to follow. The title, “Miseria Cantare”, is Latin for “Sing the Sorrow.” The song has also been used as professional wrestler CM Punk's theme song for the Ring of Honor promotion from 2004 to 2005. On March 6, 2022, the song would be used again for Punk's entrance at AEW Revolution.
