In his early years, he was a member of the bands Feelings and Souls as the lead guitarist. Bachchu was born as Robin in Chittagong on 16 August 1962 to Haji Mohammad Ishuque Chowdhury and Nurjahan Parvin. He grew up in Chittagong.
