Aaron Cottam was born in Douglas, Isle of Man on 9th March 1999. Musically minded from a young age, Cottam began learning acoustic guitar from age 9, but lost interest and stopped a few years later. Refusing to discard his mind for music, he then turned to experimenting with purely digital means and found his initial style in ambient electronic music. Cottam's influences lie far away from electronic music however, citing bands such as Alcest and latter-day Ulver and Violet Cold.
