Acetone was a southern California based indie-rock/slowcore group with surf and country influences. The band consisted of Richie Lee (bass guitar and most lead vocals), Steve Hadley (drums) and Mark Lightcap (guitar and vocals). The band released five records between 1993-2000. Their rise towards popularity was cut short by the suicide of Richie Lee in 2001.
