This demo was released on June 6th of 2008 on the two-year anniversary of the band's formation. It was originally slated for a Halloween 2008 release, but the band decided they needed to "get things rolling" as soon as possible. The album went through several changes in cover art and track listings before it was finished. It was originally going to be called "Flight of the Raven", but the band decided that a title referencing "Crucify Me" was best; it was their most successful song at the time.
