Annika Brown
221 listeners
The Brighton-based singer/songwriter successfully fuses her eclectic influences, ranging from Carole King to Nick Cave and Regina Spektor, into a distinctive sound of her own. Having started out as a poet and a literature student, her lyrics are the heart of her songs, but having been passionately involved with music from a young age, the music is their life blood. At present she is performing with guitarist and mandolinist James Bandenburg and drummer Jimmy Snider as Annika Brown and the Deep.
