A história do quarteto Arautos do Rei, começa juntamente com o primeiro programa evangélico do rádio brasileiro, A Voz da Profecia, tendo como apresentador, o pastor Roberto Rabello. O programa é produzido pela Igreja Adventista do Sétimo Dia, desde 1943. É verdade que o mesmo programa já existia nos Estados Unidos, e os Arautos do Rei também já existiam lá.
