“Tough Love” is the second single off of Avicii’s posthumous album TIM. The song features frequent collaborators Vargas & Lagola who provided vocals for Avicii’s 2017 track “Friend of Mine” and helped co-produce other songs of his such as “Hey Brother” and “You Make Me”. The song talks about two lovers and having tough love for one another and takes inspiration from the Middle East. The instrumentals for the song were inspired by Avicii’s trip to the Middle East and features the violin.
