He grew up in a small village of 900 people near Eisenach in Thuringia, Germany, where he was drawn to music from an early age. However, due to a lack of structure, scene, and role models for making music, he struggled to develop his craft in the way he imagined. Fortunately, his life changed when he ended up at an independent theater in Eisenach, where he took over the musical production for two years.
