RIP saxophonist Alto Reed (born Thomas Neal Cartmell) who toured with Segar for 42 years and whose most recognizable performances include the saxophone introduction to "Turn the Page" and the saxophone solo in "Old Time Rock & Roll".

Seger & The Silver Bullet band 1976-80 is by far some of the best rock music I have ever listened to.

Lmao@SupahShadow One hit wonder? Are you daft man or musically challenged or both? Bob Seger placed 6 songs in Billboard Magazines Top Ten; 12 others in BM's top 40; has 30 in the Top 100. These are just the record singles. (As of 1986 - Joel Whitburn Top Pop Singles) He may have more, that's as far as my book went, not to mention the many great albums, album cuts and 45rpm B-sides. Open mouth, insert foot statement by you.

I'm not a huge Bob Seeger fan, but Live Bullet is one of the best live albums I've ever heard.

I don't need to play music to get my groove on.....but when I do, it's Bob Seger. Cheers

hahaha someone said one hit wonder hahaha Bob Seger is one of the most underrated musicians of all time and his stuff with the Silver Bullet Band is some of his best. A Stranger in Town may be the greatest album of the 70s. Definitely helped slay disco and kept rock and roll staying strong!

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band are rock & roll music at its finest. They have a raw, unpolished sound that is full of passion. Most bands today don't have that. Seger's voice has so much character!

Post-System/Pre-"Night Moves" albums, "Shakedown" 45 and his newest "Face the Promise" must be attributed to Bob Seger
