"It's Just Forever" is the fourth track from Cage the Elephant's second studio album "Melophobia". "I’ve always been in love with old surf music, and I think that came through when I started writing this riff. We wanted to write a story about two people who were so in love that it was almost creepy. It was important to have a girl telling her part of the story, and because we’ve always been fans of Alison Mosshart, she was the one who came to mind to do the girl part of the duet.
