"That Which Divides" is CHANT's debut album, independently released via Chant Projections Music on August 14, 2007. The album's live drums were recorded at Mattress Factory studios in Chicago by Martin Atkins (Pigface/Ministry/NIN/PIL). During this time CHANT creator Bradley Bills also recorded hammer dulcimer tracks for Pigface's "6" Album featuring Martin Bowes of Attrition.
