‘'Next Level Charli’‘ is the album opener for "Charli" by Charli XCX. The song was written by Charli and her longtime friend and collaborator, A. G. Cook who also produced this song.
In an Instagram Q&A, XCX described the song as “the perfect album opener” and as the anthem for her fans:
"I dunno, I just feel like the lyrics in the song represent me and my fans and what we like to do and how we like to party."
Later, on Twitter, XCX said that the track was the one she was the most excited to play on her then-upcoming tour.
The track interpolates the melody of the first two verses from Mz. Bratt’s 2010 track “Selecta.” The instrumental heavily samples A. G. Cook’s 2015 remix of the track.
