Mr. Gadenstätter studied transverse flute with Urs Wollenmann in Basel and Salzburg and music theory at the Carl-Orff-Institut in Salzburg from 1979-84. He then studied flute with Wolfgang Schulz and composition with Erich Urbanner at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna from 1984-92 and graduated with excellence.
