Peruvian Chicha band founded in 1967 by guitarist Pancho Acosta (real name: Francisco Acosta), vocalist Pepe Baroni, and bassist Carlos Hayre. They played Cuban music with electric guitars, developing the unique Peruvian electric guitar sound that led to the birth of Peruvian psychedelic cumbia and chicha. In the early 1970s Acosta went on to play in Los Kintos.
