Olsen began playing classical piano at the age of four and a half, and, having been in choirs sporadically throughout his childhood and adolescent life, began singing seriously at the age of sixteen. His newest endeavor, songwriting, is one that he accomplishes with avid fervor, producing heartfelt, quirky songs.
