The Less You Know, the Better is the fourth studio album by American music producer DJ Shadow. It was released on September 27, 2011 by Verve Records. The album is his first of original material since The Outsider (2006). Like Shadow's previous efforts, the album relies heavily on sampling; the samples used span many genres and time periods.
