Surf, The hotly anticipated album from Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment was surprise released for free on iTunes on May 28th. It’s release came after several delays dating back to late-2014, but it was well worth the wait.
Amongst the 16 track LP are a whole host of hidden guest features, ranging from Chicago native Jeremih, Detroit raised Big Sean, Virginia singer/rapper D.R.A.M. and Fayetteville’s own, J. Cole.
On the album, Chance the Rapper said:
"It’s the first Social Experiment project. It’s a big step for all of us all putting our heads together and letting Nico Segal, a.k.a Donnie Trumpet hold the reigns and carry it. There’s a lot of great instrumentation. A lot of input from cool writers."
