There are at least two artists with the name Dunno 1) DUNNO 1971-1973 Dunno was a short-lived group from Belfast that emerged in 1971 from a stable of locally popular bands – notably The Dominoes, The Group, Heart and Soul, Chips and The John Smith Band. They had barely rehearsed a set when they were signed up by Emerald Records on 26 April 1971. Asked what the band should be named, the inspired response was: (you guessed it) "Er…dunno."
