Giants Of All Sizes was released on October 11th, 2019. It is Elbow's 8th studio album. It originally ran at 12 tracks, but 3 were cut, with Garvey, the frontman and singer for the band, commenting that "we didn't want the whole thing to fall off the sad cliff". It's gotten mostly 4-star ratings from critics, which is very high considering that this was considered to be more experimental than some of their recent work - it is lacking in stadium anthems, and tends towards darker themes such as the Grenfell tower fire, and Brexit.
