It was reissued in 2006 as part of Century Media's 20th Anniversary series with three bonus tracks that were recorded during the original Dopesick recording sessions. The recording sessions were infamously chaotic, and involved the studio owner reportedly calling Century Media to ask if the band was mentally unstable, and threatening to kick them out. Eyehategod (also abbreviated and often referred to as EHG) is an American sludge band from New Orleans, Louisiana, which formed in 1988. The band is known for their dark, sludgy riffs combined with equally dark lyrics. Along with Melvins and Crowbar they are often considered one of the pioneers of the sludge metal genre.
