There are at least two bands with the name Flophouse. The first is a San Francisco band from the early to mid-nineties, who recorded on the Dutch label Brinkman and the US labels Harp and Heyday. The founding member was J.C. Hopkins, joined on the debut by Kim Osterwalder (bass & cello); Clem Off (guitar & mandolin); and J. Micheal Lee on drums along with special guest Peter Case.
