Frank Morton is one of the very few Sandviken-troubadours. He was born in Sandviken in 1975. He is the son of the nurse Helena Wengelin and the steelworking father Anders Frank. His parents where divorced when he was 4 years old, and he came to grow up with his mother and stepfather Hans Wengelin, who is also a troubadour and former member of the band Stickz. As a young boy he pursued a career as a painter, but abandoned that path in 1997 and turned to writing and later started playing guitar.
