“Provide“ is the first single off of the deluxe edition of Bay-area rapper G-Eazy’s fourth studio album, These Things Happen Too. The song remixes the instrumental of Mark Morrisson's 1996 hit “Return of the Mack“ and credits Morrisson as a feature. G taps frequent collaborator Chris Brown to sing a melody between his verses as he tells a story about a woman he is crazy about. The storytelling and smooth vibes are reminiscent of G-Eazy’s early career sound, which this album aims to invoke as a play off of his 2014 debut These Things Happen.
