This track, surfer/singer/songwriter Jack Johnson's debut, was featured on G. Love & Special Sauce's Philedelphonic album. Johnson later released a version of his own (Rodeo Clowns) on his album On and On. Johnson played this song for lead singer Garrett Dutton (G. Love) after the two came back from riding the waves together. G. Love and Special Sauce had already built a huge college-based following, but Johnson was a newcomer. He later gained a following of his own after being featured in ESPN The Magazine and various surfing publications.
