Gothart are a World Music band from the Czech Republic. Their style is a mixture of gothic music, Balkan folklore, Sephardic and gypsy music. They started in 1993, interpreting medieval music (“Por nos de dulta”, “Stella splendens”) with the band playing authentic instruments from that time. Since then they have expanded their style to take in other genres.
