Like most of Deathconsciousness, "Deep, Deep" has a notably bleak outlook on existence in general. In particular, this track deals with the fundamentally doomed – and dooming – nature of the human race. As long as people continue to want to have babies, more death and destruction will continue to be wrought. This revelation is also used as a means through which to question spirituality.
