Emerging from a healthy north east melodic punk scene in the early nineties, Hooton 3 Car formed part of a wave of British bands whose influence is still strong today. Their Instantly recognisable chunky guitars, driving drums and soaring melodies, were the basis for numerous UK, European and Japanese tours; 3 studio albums; a string of single releases and three Radio 1 sessions for the John Peel show. In 2003, a double CD discography of all the band’s recordings was released on Crackle Records.
