Imperial China is an experimental punk rock trio from Washington, DC, featuring Matt Johnson, Brian Porter, and Patrick Gough. Gough was in the 1990s band Pitchblende, which recorded for Cargo, Matador, Jade Tree, and Simple Machines. Imperial China began in January 2007 and self-released their debut four-song EP, "Methods:" in April 2008.
