This song was written in 1970 by Chris Brent, the keyboard player for the group Insanity's Horse. It was recorded just outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan at the studio of a well-known and successful local group called the Scott Richard Case (SRC). Insanity's Horse was a local 4-piece band from the Detroit area and fashioned by the music of the day, with very capable musicianship and a heavy emphasis on vocal harmony.
