The first Jeff Beck Group, formed in London, England in 1967, included guitarist Jeff Beck, vocalist Rod Stewart, and rhythm guitarist Ronnie Wood. Early bass players were Jet Harris and Dave Ambrose. Early drummers were Clem Cattini and Viv Prince.
