From the biography page on the band's (now defunct) website, Jesus Loves Junkies was called a “musical diary or documented exorcism.” The band was formed in late 1994 and their first album was released in the same year. Their last album was released in 1998, titled The Great Escape From Paradise, and in 1999 the band parted ways.
