This album was released post-humously in 1972. It represents Hendrix at the peak of his playing ability. The playing is tight and focused. The 13+ minute cut of Red House alternately whispers and soars. The entire solo is subtly nuanced and shows Hendrix' seamless playing to its greatest advantage. It is a great shame that this album ever went out of print. It is probably (excepting Electric Lady Land) the best work the Experience ever did.
