John Edmond was born on 18 November 1936 of Scottish parents in Luanshya, Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia), on the Roan Antelope copper mine. John Edmond is somewhat of a legend around campfires from Zambia to Zululand and from Walvis Bay to Vilanculos. Singer, songwriter, entertainer, storyteller, author and bush pilot.
