When the great Texan George Brown moved to Baltimore and John first heard him sing "Pancho and Lefty," John knew he would learn how to play. John MacLean is a Baltimore born and raised singer-songwriter who now lives in the Boston area. He has enjoyed increasing success as a songwriter and performer over the last ten years, culminating in honorable mention for his song "Liar's War (Letter Home) at the 2005 Boston Folk Festival Singer Songwriter Contest and the recent release of his CD "Letters Home."
