Biography
Kempston Protek & Fuller may sound like a team of Harvard lawyers, but are in reality John Clark (ex-bis) and Ally Christie (erstwhile guitar tech for the Delgados, Mogwai, The Pixies and all manner of assorted indie rock royalty). Formed in Glasgow, the duo deliver mixed-up noises and freaky bleeps, dark deep slices of electro overlaid with sinister melodies, managing to sound retro and futuristic all at once. Their debut release, '12k Boost Boost' was released as part of the Chemikal Underground Fukd ID series on June 2nd 2003. One reviewer at the BBC described it the "delightful melange" as "…what happens when The Clangers learn how to use keyboards." Their name is composed of several computer game joystick names from the eighties.
