I do intensly miss Secede, but for some reason hadn't given his collaborations a spin yet. When Can is high key great! I think these two artists complement one another in beautiful ways. Can't get any better than this.

I love the album, its absolutely beautiful, they melted their sound together perfectly, they really compliment each other. Secede holds Kettle's mindfu... bending, melodies back which serves the album in my opinion. (don't get me wrong i love to be mind-bent by Kettel, but this makes the album much more of a subtle experience that is still overwhelming.) As for the 'childishness' accusations: I think the opposite. Daring to be joyful in this pessimistic times we're living in is actually proving maturity, and makes this album a blessing. Peace! :)

I imagine everyone was expecting something like 'Leraine', but it was probably wrong to. I wonder how much input Kettel actually made towards that track beyond providing the wonderful melody originally used in his track 'Sunaboveyou' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1xmjQaI6OA). Anyway, I think Leraine was a one off. I didn't expect them to replicate the magic of that track for a full album. I respect that they've tried to advance their sound by putting out something original instead which still clearly sounds like them. They've convincingly merged their sound so well I've found it hard to guess which of the two could have provided the creative touches between the elements of each track. I really like the album. It's got the journey-like soundscapes of Secede combined with the melodic tones of Kettel. It's creative, and in terms of production it sounds great.

Everyone saying When Can can't top Tryshasla has to realize that pretty much all of us have had years to love Tryshasla and grow with it, each listen probably making it more special. With how amazing When Can is, I'm sure it'll be the same way. Both albums are fantastic. [2]

i secretly have been waiting for a sequel to tryshasla, and this definitely does it for me (whether anyone wants to make the comparisons or not.) both albums are fantastic and as much as i liked vega libre, this is a relief to hear after that.

@Woodawgy i feel you, i love Tryshasla as well, but I'm actually glad they are moving on and trying new territory. also, this is a collaboration so it's going to be different from their solo stuff. as excited as I would be to have a "Tryshasla 2", ultimately I would be dissapointed that it'd be more of the same. i doubt if artists are ever looking to create clones of their previous albums.

Digging the new album. 'Kirsten', 'Admittance', 'Missing Time', 'Deliria Noon' & 'Fullmoon' are all quite wonderful pieces of music. The other tracks don't really do it for me for the most part although some of them have their moments. Having revisited 'Tryshasla' by Secede last night I can't help but wish that Secede creates another masterpiece with similar sounds. One has to wonder if he can ever top that amazing album.
