Kwisp is a San Francisco based musical group, started by musician and Hologlyphic movie pioneer Walter Funk. Their instrumentation is unique, most of it built by the band itself. Their first album, Teriyaki Vest Odyssey, merged Elf songs, free jazz, Dada, and Tantric Appalachian Pygmy Music. Fifty Foot Hose has been cited as an influence by such bands as Throbbing Gristle, Pere Ubu and Chrome.
